Byff was born in Bryan, Texas in 1970. He spent his childhood out in the country, his adolescence in the Houston suburbs, and his early adulthood in the Army. He now makes
a living as a Web developer, and aspires to a full-time writing career. He's a one-time divorcee, an occasional college attendee, an uncle, a party animal, and a fisherman.

Byff uses his writings as a vehicle for his philosophies and scientific theories. His fascination with theology and evolution provides ample fuel for wanking. His goal
is to write the Great Cosmic Novel, whose exploration of universal archetypes and human nature will naturally lead humanity to enlightenment, thereby saving the world.
